Pat Testerman

Pat is a pastor in rural New Hampshire. He holds a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from North Park Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Martha, met as college students, married after graduation, and spent the next two decades traveling around the world with the military before moving to New Hampshire. After the military, Pat flew as an airline pilot and served in law enforcement before entering vocational ministry while continuing to serve as a part-time police officer. Martha is a certified labor doula, birth assistant, and childbirth educator, and was the primary homeschool teacher for their three children, now adults.
Pat and Martha began partnering with NCCF soon after its founding in 2017, and became close friends with Nick, Kate, and their kids. They were meeting with Nick individually and as a couple until his passing, and it was Nick who encouraged them to begin studies with the Christian Counseling and Education Foundation (CCEF). Martha and Pat have each earned the CCEF Formation Certificate, and Pat is currently pursuing his Essentials of Biblical Counseling certificate.
Jonathan Frank

Jonathan Frank is a pastor at Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
He and his wife, Jessica, have five children. Jonathan enjoys hanging out with his family and watching his NY Mets, Jets, and Nets.
Jonathan is excited to be involved with NCCF because of the way they come alongside and partner with the local church. He appreciates that NCCF loves pastors and understands how challenging their role is and he loves how they come alongside these Shepherds and offer sincere care and counsel while also partnering with them to equip and care for their congregation.
Andy Engert

Andy is the Executive Director at CCEF New England. He received his Master of Arts in counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary and has completed numerous CCEF School of Biblical Counseling certificate courses in preparation for becoming a biblical counselor. Prior to joining CCEF, Andy worked in the professional counseling field and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of Vermont. He has a passion for supporting the church in New England and for helping people find real help in the Lord as they face the significant challenges of life. Andy and his wife, Christine, have three sons, and he also serves as the part-time worship pastor at his church. Andy loves music, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
Andy is excited to be part of supporting and developing good biblical care in New Hampshire and seeing Nick’s vision for the ministry of NCCF grow and flourish.
Paul Randolph

Dr. Paul Randolph serves as a chaplain for the US Secret Service, the Pennsylvania State Police, and Huntingdon Valley Fire Company. He has been a lead pastor for two churches and has over 35 years of experience as a pastor, counselor, and emergency services chaplain. He recently retired as the Founder and Executive Director of Insight Christian Counseling based in Huntingdon Valley, PA. Dr. Paul is the author of numerous articles in various professional publications, is a retreat and conference speaker, and adjunct faculty for Liberty University. He and his wife, Phyllis, have been married for 38 years and they have three children and five grandchildren. They reside in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
Paul is looking forward to seeing how God uses Matt to futher the work of NCCF and to see this work grow in a part of the country that really needs what NCCF has to offer.
John Riggs

John is an associate pastor at Grace Community Church (Fulton, MD) where he provides leadership in the areas
of community, discipleship, and care. John received his theological training from Westminster Theological Seminary, during which time he also completed many of CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling certificate courses. Over the years, he has had the privilege of serving in the local church as an Associate and Interim Lead Pastor. John lives in Abington with his wife, Kait, and their four sweet kids — Avalyn, Jane, Silas, and Owen.
Some of the things he enjoys most in life are meaningful conversations with others (preferably over a good meal!), any time spent with his family, reading, cycling, and all things hiking and backpacking.
John is excited to be part of supporting the vision and mission of NCCF as they seek to nurture and develop a growing movement of robust, rich biblical care in and around New Hampshire.
Brian Johnsen

Brian has been serving as pastor of Countryside Community Church in Contoocook, NH, since 2013. He and his wife Kristen have raised 2 biological daughters, cared for over 40 foster children, and adopted 4 daughters in the process. Brian enjoys outdoor sports, playing board games, cutting down hazard trees around people’s homes, and conversations with people. He has worked as a forester in NH since 2002, and continues to work in the woods part-time. The Johnsen family has received care through NCCF first-hand as they worked through foster parenting difficulties, and are very grateful to be a part of helping others heal.
Gary Wischan

Gary has recently retired after being the CFO of Prime Source Foods, a New England protein distributor, for 22 years. He and his wife, Laurie, have been married for 34 years and have two adult daughters. Gary grew up in New Orleans and came to know the Lord through Cru during his time as a student at Louisiana Tech University. Gary has been at his current church for almost 20 years and he has served in the nursery, teen ministry, and traveled to Romania for missions trips. Gary is excited to see NCCF continue Nick’s ministry, particularly with regard to caring for a people from a Christian perspective in a world that has an increasing prevalence of depression and anxiety.
