Our Story

NCCF was founded in 2017 by Nick and Kate Clark. Nick was a pastor with a passion for pointing people to the healing and forgiveness that can be found in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Kate had a bent towards administration. They both had a call to share the hope of the Gospel with the people of New Hampshire.

Together they formed a ministry based on helping churches care for their congregants. Local pastors quickly embraced the vision and NCCF became a dependable resource for the churches of Central New Hampshire.

In August of 2022, Nick was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord.

His passing wasn’t a surprise to the Lord, though. He placed a strong burden on Kate’s heart to see the work of NCCF continue. He provided a community of pastors who had caught the vision of NCCF to continue to support this work. And he prepared the way for Nick’s friend and colleague, Matt, to leave his work at CCEF in Pennsylvania and take on Nick’s role as Director of Biblical Care at NCCF.

As we grieve Nick’s loss, we have also been encouraged to see God tenderly and specifically providing all that we need to continue to carry out Nick’s life’s work: providing the care and hope of the Gospel to hurting people. All of those involved with NCCF look forward to witnessing what God does in the next chapter of this story.
